For 4 - 5 people

  1. 125g plain flour
  2. 100g sugar
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 125g butter
  5. 125g raisins
  6. 1/2 litre whole milk

 For the filling:


  1. Put the flour and sugar in a large bowl
  2. Add the eggs and mix with a wooden spoon until a thick, smooth paste forms
  3. Gradually stir in the milk
  4. Put half of the butter in a baking dish and pop it in the oven at 220°
  5. Once the butter has turned golden brown, pour in the mixture and add the raisins
  6. Melt the rest of the butter in a pan and pour over the top
  7. Put the baking dish back in the oven for about 30 minutes, until the far is set and golden brown
